Downe Township EMS is a volunteer Ambulance company located in Southern New Jersey, Newport to be exact. Squad 36 is comprised of township residents that wish to provide emergency care on a Basic Life Support level to people in need. We cover Dividing Creek, Newport, Fortescue, Money Island, Gandy's Beach, Turkey Point, Maple Creek, and Dyer's Cove. We also cover neighboring districts when necessary.

Downe Township EMS works together in the township with two fire districts. Downe Township Fire and Rescue Company #1, and Dividing Creek Fire Company.
